Bali Trekking Tour For All Kinds Of Travelers

Exercising while traveling is not an impossible thing to do, not in Bali. As the island provides with many tourist attractions as well as sport activities that you can do while you stay in one of the famous tourism destination in the world. Bali has a lot of restaurants, bar, and café where you can enjoy the tropical atmosphere while caring nothing about the world.

However, those who like more healthy life style may also enjoy their time while staying in the island.  You can do indoor sport at the gym which is available in hotels and sport centers, or you can also do outdoor exercise while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way.

There are some tips that you can do while doing trekking in Bali.

  1. Some of the trekking in Bali can be done as solo especially if it is close to the main city and near the local village. One of the main attraction for solo trekking is cycling, as they are available almost everywhere, you can rent a bicycle and ride along the rice paddies during summer. However, not all of the trekking can be done by solo, sometimes you need to do it in group with a professional guide. The reason is because the will be a lot of unfamiliarity along the way which might harm you when you are not ready for it.
  2. There is two vulcanic mountain that you can hike while staying in Bali. The first one is mount Batur, which is suitable for recreational hiking and those who are beginner level in hiking. Some people might consider the track is quite difficult, but it only took two hours to complete the climbing; so you can still be able to complete the tracking without being too exhausted. If you are a professional hiker, then climbing mount Agung is a recommendation.

The trail can be completed from 12 to 14 hours with estimate time around 7 hours to 8 hours to climb to the summit. It is not suitable for those who are not familiar with heavy exercise, and you have to do the trekking in group as the mountain is thick with tress and sometimes you can see wild animals hiding behind the bushes.

  1. You don’t have to travel far from the main cities in order to trekking, because sometimes you can still find an appropriate locations which is close to your hotel; for example mount Batur which is only one 40 km away from Ubud.

Although trekking is not the main reason why people come to Bali, but nowadays many people enjoy completing trails as part of their tourism activities.  Bali and the local people has come to idea where the foreign people may do exercise while enjoying the local scenery, some village allow tourist to explore the sacred places as part of the trekking activities. As the result, you can also mingle with local people while doing your exercise, and you might find new treasure place which is  only known by local people while doing tour exercise.
